I am now in Auckland. I am so pleased to be here and can't wait to start travelling around but i have 24 hours jet-lag on my shoulders at the mo so i am going to stay put here for a little while until my poor body clock adjusts itslef. It is incredible just how quickly you can adapt to things. For example I have already adjusted to the lack of privacy, the uncomfortable beds, the absence of hot water, presence of mosquitos and the close quaters which you share with strangers! It was a really wierd feeling leaving the people i have got to know so well back in the Cook Islands. Its amazing just how well you do get to know each other, i guess living in such close proximity all the time you are going to become close. It has ceratinly opened my eyes to a very different way of life and i'm sure my friends will be gratefu of it when i return. Although I haven't completely left them as Lori, Jen and Michael are meeting me in NZ very soon! Take care xx
