HAPPY XMAS!!! Well, what an interesting few days we have had - xmas eve we were searching for somewhere to stay and fortunately found a great little place called Manly Cottage Inn who were able to put us all up!! Talk about lucky! Its a nice little place with good atmosphere not too far from the beach. So had a great xmas day too.......santa (plus a little help from Vix and Hels) brought me lots of chocolate, sweets, some music and something to read, which were all opened whilst tucking into even more chocolate (of course). And we have offically become complete 'champagne backpackers' with smoked salmon and a bottle of bubbly for breakfast!! Then hit the beach to watch the surfers do theier thang and played a very short game of beach volley ball (doesn't mix well with bubbly!!), to then come back to the hostel for a BBQ!! Very chilled out. Missed the Queen's speech...bummer eh?!?! he he. Basically had a great day. Ate, drank and laughed far too much. All made possible due to the company - cheers girls xx Boxing day so far has involved doing very little - watched the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race from the Harbour then hit the beach. Gonna head into town soon to meet up with James, Ryan and Paul and probably watch Meet the Fockers. Hope everyone had a great xmas xx
