So, finally made it to Brisbane. Quite nice place but an ever present cyclone has brought the english weather here!! It has been raining for 5 days here now boo hoo. Hope that when it clears up it'lll take the humidity with it as it is soooo flippin hot!! The Australia day parade was cancelled due to the rain which was a shame, although i still managed to get the free BBQ he he Went out into town last night but couldn't really enjoy it to the full as had a very early morning from Toowoomba yesterday (thankyou for the lift Nola xx) and so was shattered. Had a lazy day today just trying to get my bearings of this place - it is huge!! Hopped on a train and explored some of the suburbs.....ended up in a Vietnamese Community at one point! Ooopps. Been looking for a job but no luck yet, it seems every backpacker has come here to get a job!! i'll give it a few more days yet, Vix is arriving tomorrow so am looking forward to that. Hope all is well xx
