Well last night was certainly an experience! Monday nights is 'backpacker night' so loads of backpackers from all over the island meet in one place to party. It was sooo much fun. Tried some of the local brew and attempted to try the local dance!!! That was not easy - particularly after the home brew!! Most of the evening was geared up to the Rarotongan Dance Competition which was held at the end of the night and very entertaining to watch. When we got back to the hostel in the very early hours of the morning it was a really clear warm night and me and a fellow roommate decided to sleep under the stars in the hammock on the beach! It really was quite surreal. There was no noise at all apart form the waves on the sand.......aaahhhhhh And on that note - hope all is well in the uk.
