Stopped in Spaulding for a toilet stop, nicest public toilet ever; even smelt nice! Also, thanks for the parking SES!
Stopped in a driver reviver on the national A1 got some bickies, fishermans friends and an ispy game. Quick stop in port Augusta for the auto electrical stop and to offload the old mattress, thank you very much!! Had reception all the way up to port Augusta... Not bad vodafail, but I have this sneaking suspicion this is it!!
Stopped at the rest stop to see the salt flats then went on the long long boring road to woomera. How very horror movie esque! A military base like you see in the movies with numbers on all the buildings, buildings are in great condition but there is no-one here, abandoned houses, schools, it's like driving through a ghost town, the fun isn't even seeing all the old military stuff it's the feeling that you've walked onto a horror movie set... Weird!! Totally worth a look.
Stopped for firewood on the side of the road and thought we were going to get stuck in a soft patch of sand for a minute but the lad cruiser plowed on through! Saw some oversized trucks that literally took up the whole road... We had to pull off the road!
Stopped to help an Adelaidan couple with a flat on their caravan, got a nice painting.stayed at an underground backpackers in coober pedy and cooked up a meal on the webber, posted some stuff from eBay, well addressed them Nyway. P.s. mum was totes wrong about the underground plac it was awesome! It was actually used as a mine and residence for someone prior to being accommodation.
