Off earlier today, got about 20km up the road and Nichol couldn't find his watch so we stopped at some historical steps and opened out the tent but still couldn't find it so back to the campsite we went. Not there so it must be in the car somewhere. On we went, so much carnage on the roadside today! Stopped for lunch on the roadside just before roma then toddled into town. Went to woolies to get a couple of supplies. They have these really cool boab trees all along the streets there. It's actually quite a big town... A woolies and an IGA! on the way out of town bought a baby boab tree, couldn't resist, they are just such cool trees! Moseyed on up the road to Surat where old mate last night recommended, apparently there are showers in town for free but we set up the shower tent anyway. Maybe we'll have another one tomorrow if we feel so inclined. Since it's called fisherman's park thought we'd try for some fish. There was a nana here that was playing guitar and yodelling, ha oldies! Had some cheesies with a lovely old couple named ronatta and Kevin, sat around having a bit of a yarn before dinner and bed
