A nice short day today. Quickish stop at musgrave roadhouse for a wee and a snack then headed up the road to Laura. A very historic little town, once a meeting place and main junction for a gold railway, also home to a local mounted police unit which would track and capture people around the area. They were also called into Victoria to track need Kelly, so there you go! Hung around a bit and had a delicious roll while the others had lunch at the pub and we decided To stay there the night because they had nice grassy camping and goodish facilities. Apparently it's all tar from here to cairns with the exception of the old coach track which we are planning on doing tomorrow.
