Off to the dreaded shotgun creek crossing today. The original, crazy person way is a sheer drop down into a squishy mud puddle so the easier cheats way it is. When I say easy, it was still tricky, see the photo. Lots of spectators and one crazy guy that went down a pretty steep one, his car was nearly vertical! Trudged along got to another crossing that warned of crocs in the water but there were plenty of crazy people in there! A bit of a bottom out on the rear of all our cars, Tim lifted a couple of wheels off the ground on the way up (it was cool) and onward to 'fruit bat falls'. Seems everyone had the same idea of going here for lunch on the way to the national park campground because it was so busy, we'll miss that one and hit it up on the way home. On to twin falls. Went for a wander all around the shore line from twin, trough to Eliot and finish at the saucepan. Really nice walk although a couple of smack in the face tree obstacles. Back to twin falls for a swim, beautiful water then back up to cook dinner, roast tonight yum yum yum! A little bit of plan alteration for tomorrow then bedybyes!!
