Nice shower this morning, feel much better. Off to check out chilli beach just up the road and the local town and airstrip. Well chilli beach was nothing super special. Lots of pumus stone which will be awesome for scrubbing all this dirt off my feet! The photo of chilli beach really makes it look nicer thAn the reality, not tempted to swim here, the crocs can have it! Didn't find janet but there are a lot of campsites around the way. Went into Lockhart river, where they ask you not to take photos to respect their privacy and I see why, our tax dollars hard at work to be tip ratted and Torn to bits. The first place that we have been that has alcohol prohibition though. Quite a nice view at the water just through the town, these awesome rocks that looked a bit surreal, if you painted them people would think they were fake! Down to the airstrip but looked like an ordinary run of the mill airport and back to the campground to relax and have a bake off - bec with brownies and LB with scones for desert! Another gross cane toad touched my foot and scared the willies out of me! Chat with the ranger and got some very interesting information about crocodiles; moral of the story, stick in pairs and if he chases you run in opposite directions and he won't know what to do! Roast for dinner followed by a nice chat with everyone and some Devonshire beverages.
