Braved the palm creek crossing after watching one guy chew up all the Ruts, just to make it more challenging. Then Nichol was up (got a great video to put up when we get home) then down, then stuck, we all needed help through the two parts of the crossing and there was the expert recovery team ready and waiting. After us some goose in a hilux came speeding down and scared the crap out of Linda and Lisa who were still washing their feet in the river. We're expecting to see him a but further up with some missing car parts!! Headed up toward dulhunty river (don't quote me on the spelling!) through a few more creek crossings, one even came up over the bonnet- it was cool, and now the car is clean! Looked at the campsite we planned near the river and decided to look a little further a field and found a nice spot next to a creek where we could swim and stuff. Spent the afternoon down there with a drink or two before dinner. Made some bread and stayed up late to pull him out (well lateish!!)
