Another chill out day, a few little tweaks after re- packing the car yesterday. Finished my beanie, couple of mistakes but not too bad for a first go! Just chilling out today, gotta go for a run into town to pick up a few bits for the car and some fresh foods and stuff and that's about it. Wanted to go to the 4x4 shop but they all closed before lunch, no one told me we were going to New Zealand!! A few drinks in the evening, nice hot shower in the caravan park ensuite and an early night.

More driving today. A nice hot shower to start the day and some Nutella on naan, mmmmmm! Stopped at information centre just out of townsville with an overly helpful old mate volunteering there (he reminded me od that fact a few times!) Went to woolies at townsville after a million freakin' road works. Lunch at a rest stop next to the cane plantation and back through road works and hanging out behind slow poke drivers that always speed up at the over taking lanes....

Woke up this morning to find a dirty great poo next to one of the picnic tables, might I add it was only a 20m walk to the toilets, gross!!!! More driving , stopped in at rockhampton on the way to get a new fan belt and do some more running repairs on big red. Went to visit Nichols cousin danika but turns put she's in sydney!! Up early to get the battery to that place. Should be ready by 3 which is good. Mucked around in brissy for a bit, bought some lollies at aldi, a Nichol proof (we'll see about that) phone cover and had a massage then Headed back to the battery place and she's all good!! So on our way, more rain... So much for the sunshine state! More driving and gay roadworks and finally stopped at a rest area just off the road south of Gladstone.
