After a bit of fiddling with the battery and ringing around we decided that we had to go though Brisbane to see the battery peeps and get that sorted so we'll have to meet the rest of our party in cairns. Lots of driving, lots of roadwork zones. Stayed in a caravan park for a ridiculous amount of money, make the most of these facilities!! After a late start with running repairs and a few parts from bush auto 1... Thanks drew! We're on our way. Lots of unexciting driving. Pulled into gunnedah at about 9:30 and everywhere was closed or full, damn mining peeps!! Headed into a rest stop just south of boggabri, bit noisy but free, so; winner! Got a bit bogged in a dodgy bit (rained lots on the way up) but we got out and found a less yucky bit to camp in.

7th march. Gotta go home today boo :(. Packed up all our stuff wrapping everything tightly, and headed out to find the stupid Tom hanks star and go to the 'farmers market'. The lady in the lobby said that it wasn't too far but it was a $20 cab ride so we decided to walk, it doesn't look so far on the map (that's what we thought) turns out the map wasn't to scale and when we found it on the GPS we discovered it was a 5km ish walk!! oh well too late to turn back n...

6th march. Quickly dropped into Venice beach on the way up to Hollywood. Found randy's donuts which Nichol has been looking for but because donuts were pretty much the only palatable things on the breakfast menu at our hotel neither of us wanted a donut and we went all the way around, off the freeway to get there! Oh well, got a picture!! Found out what people are talking about when they mention LA traffic, it's mid day and the traffic is barely moving... Go to w...

5th feb. woo, Disney land!!! What can I say? It really is a magical wonderland. The rides here are so well done, they are just like in the movies!! The lines aren't too bad either. I think it's because the weather was a bit cold and rain threateny all day but it was very satisfying to walk the miles and miles through lines (would totally not have waited if the lines went all the way to the end!) made it everywhere in the park, so overstimulated right now!!
