Got up at the crack of dawn, actually before that, to go for a super happy fun camel adventure. We collected our boxed breaky (although a little dodgy) and got picked up by Michael the camel guy in the mini van. We met our camels, mine and mum's was named Randy and I liked the look of him coz he was sleepy but it seemed that he was more interested in the man infront as he kept putting his head in the guys lap! A great view of Uluru and Kata tjuta with the sun rising all around us. Back to the resort with a tonne of time to spare. Decided to head to the cultural centre to pick up a painting. It was really cool actually, there were two of the aboriginal artists who's works were in the centre there doing a bit of a demo which we hadn't seen previously. A drumstick (the vegetarian kind) and off to the airport. Airport security took ages to get through coz there was 1 metal detector and scanner doover. Finally through the tiny ass airport and onto the plane where I received my special vegetarian meal... Good thing too coz they were serving everyone else vegetarian tortillas for lunch!! Fail qantas, fail!!
