Landed at ayers Rock airport at about 1:20ish local time after a bit of a bumpy flight but nothing too serious. After arriving at the hotel and finding that we couldn't check in we went on a drive out to the Olgas and not wanting to have our luggage pinched, just went for a short wander to the base of the things and OMG they are impressive! Big And like nothing that I've seen before. After that, with still a little time on our hands went for a cruise around the rock and a visit to the information centre which was interesting and advised us against waking up the rock but we're gunna do it anyway!! Drove around the base of the thing and plan on exploring it a bit more tomorrow. Back to the flat for dinner from IGA and an ok bottle of wine and am so ready for bed right now!! On a side note, when u ask for 3 beds to be made up is that really so hard, also it is necessary that those 3 people have pillows... Seriously Uluru resort place!!!
