Went to uluru early this morning hoping to climb but unfortunately; no dice! Headed on over to the brolgas, which I still need to learn how to say in the native language. Went for a walk through the rocks and it was beautiful!! A little chilly an windy to start with but it fined up and all was well with the world again! P.s. did a walk recommended to take 4 hours in 2... We're awesome!! Went back to Uluru to take a little wall around the bottom and when we came back the walk was open; yay!! Even though we were all totes over walking had a sandwich and powered on up the rock and seriously that was steep, no wonder people die up there!! Got to the top of the tricky part and debated going on but so close right?! So on we went... Totally worth it and the top section wasn't nearly as bad although it is why I imagine the surface of mars to be like! While I was walking, and for no reason at all, I got bitten by a flying ant that flew into my nose... Jerk!!! Made it to the top anyway so take that nature! On a side note we saw some foreign tourists sitting on the top of the rock and decided to take a picture of them for sad to take to work for show and tell!!!
Off to sounds of silence tonight. Pretty nice but the sunset wasn't begin the rock like u thought it would be and the dinner spot didn't have a view of Uluru but it did have a nice one of the olgas. There was also a star talk which was cool but the poor guy had all this cloud cover and as soon as he was done it went away! Nice buffet dinner and ok wine. Kinda fun eating in the outback. Back home then off to bed straight away ready for tomorrow's adventures! On a side note... Today is the day of Jeremy the rock's birthday and maiden adventure!
