Headed off at 9ish on the way to aulstinville. First stop... The big banana, I have to say that it was much more impressive when I was smaller! Did the touristy photo thing, as you do, and bought some delightful banana earrings.

Off to a town just before ballina - woodburn - to meet Rach for lunch at Evans head. Went to lunch at cafe spirit, not too bad then for a walk along the beach ... Beautiful! And on the way back there were this swarm of little crabs, I tried to get a picture but I think I failed a little but, still super cool!

Landed in alstonville at about 3:30 and met Joelle and the fam. Lovely kids. Wraps and weise bars for dinner and a food old chat. A beautiful sunrise to end a busy but good day.
