ACTUAL DATE: 14th feb. been a super slack blogger in keeping up to date but have had so much going on here that all I can manage to do when we get home is go to sleep!! Up at the crack of dawn (5) for a bus to the airport to catch our Grand Canyon scenic flight. So sleepy!!! Flight was awesome, quite a long ride actually about an hour and a land in the middle for a pastry and some champagne in a mini individual sized picnic basket. Got back to the hotel for a snooze ... I am so sore, can't believe we're going skiing in a day and a half!! Have come to the conclusion that you need alot of time (and money) to properly explore vegas... There's so much to do (but don't bring the kids, seriously!) went a wandering again, first stop Paris for a two for 1 ride up the half scale Eiffel Tower. Great view, would look pretty at night (Paris is better though!) luckily got to the top just in time to see the bellagio fountain finally across the road and there was an hilarious guy at the top who looked like ray Charles and did his best impression! Headed back down to catch an elvis show... And now we can say we did because it was awful, he really was 'big elvis'! Oh wait we did that before paris no matter, it's all a blur (no I have not had a drink today). Then off for the Fremont experience, which is just old vegas strip, not as cool as the new one but it is retrotastic!! There was this convention there so it was a little hard to navigate so we bailed and headed back to the hotel to re-pack the bags and get a massage also ice cream and Chinese soup which Nichol apparently went to china to get!- gotta be ready to ski! Up early again tomorrow so that should be about it I guess. Have to say: disappointed in the valentines tackiness there's less than I expected but boy has it brought in the crowds!
