Actual date: 12th feb. up not too late today and i was driving , although i think nichol was scared coz i only drove for an hour and a half!! headed through Death Valley. Really pretty scenery and surprisingly varied. Stopped in at scotty's castle which was a castle built in the middle of the desert. Then Headed for the salt creek which runs all year round and is super salty (I'm sure there's a picture of Nichol tasting the water somewhere! There are also these special fish that live in there but we didn't see any, apparently spring is the time to see them. Headed out to the main road past the ghost/ broken town which was previously a mining town and on the long and boring road to Vegas! Two thirty on the button (that's when the car has to be back) in Vegas baby!! A surprisingly vast lot of housing surrounding the city that we saw from the freeway. Got settled and poked around for a bit. Had a couple of drinks and went to the half price ticket place to wrangle some Criss Angel tickets and a buffet meal. Seafood buffet was pretty nice and ate heaps of sushi then discovered the desert bar... Thought I'd never eat again! Criss Angel's show was pretty spectacular but the magic was a little repetitive, clever, but the same just in different ways. Am so tired of walking... Need to crash!!
