not a great deal done today. We went to a sherpa museum and which pictured all the sherpas who had summited the great mountains of the world. It was quite interesting, we also went to the national park museum which was pretty much the same as one that you would see in Australia except with pictures of different animals and much more impressive mountain ranges.

We also went for a wander around the markets which are in Namche as it is the major area for trading in the area. It is apparently the place where the Tibetan people are able to come into Nepal but no further!! (there is a military checkpoint with scary looking men with guns just after Namche).

This is the most awesome lodge so far. we even got slippers and got to watch a DVD after dinner. I also have to make mention of their fabulous Nak cheese toasties...yummo!!
