we actually went to kumjung today but for some reason this is not registering on this silly site.

From this town you get a great view of the mountains but unfortunately up here in the mountains it is always cloudy in the afternoons and today was no exception, fingers crossed for tomorrow.

We went for a walk to a monestary today, and this is no ordinary monestary, they have, in their posession... wait for it... a real live Yeti scalp - that's proof that they are real right!! One of our guides, Nurbu, said the funniest thing; 'when I first saw it I thought that it was a coconut!' not a bad observation really! I'm not convinced!

although the people that were at the place we were staying were really nice I am glad that we are only staying here 1 night, this is officially the grosest toilet yet, I can take a squat toilet but the smell... I had to spray perfume on a scarf and put it onto my nose just to go in there! something interesting is that you have to put all your toilet paper into the bin next to the toilet as opposed to flushing it because it doesn't decompose at this altitude or something, i would say that this is a great contributor to the smell!
