23rd feb. Trying to get the toilet to flush today was a fun way to start... Gotta love the third world!! Then an effort to get the wifi working and make a list of everything in my bag. A little wander to find a better hotel and some new sunnies - which are the blingiest rip off d&g sunnies ever (but I was over bargaining and looking for sunnies so that's what I got). A burrito from a street vendor, relocation to a cheaper, nicer hostel with breaky and to the police station or the ' policia judicial'. Found a nice policeman on the street and he put us on a taxi to the station, it was quite a ways away and we'll see how we go making a report because so far no one seems to speak English! No dice... The tourist office is also closed, let's hope the insurance company will understand, 3 weeks in an English speaking country and I loose a bag in the Spanish one!! Looked for golf buggies to rent but were too expensive for 1/2 a day so tomorrow it is. Some guacamole, a cocoloco and a carina later and I'm ready for a siesta! Siesta down, bit more exploring and few drinks then bed. Nearly forgot... Went into this little flee market thingo and there was this lady feeding her iguana and I got to pat him, I want an iguana!!
