ACTUAL DATE: 5th feb... Left for mascot at 5:30 - thanks for the lift jan and Dennis! onto Melbourne for a 3 hour wait, although it did mean we got an exit row... yay. Just landed in LAX after an uncomfortable long haul. It's a little tricky to get your head around the whole different day thing so it's already the 6th there but it's only the 5th here. I'll get there! Sitting in the united club lounge and Nichol is trying to ascertain the tipping etiquette for inclusions at the bar. It seems as though the tips are going to cost a fair bit extra! After a few drinks and a little sleep it's back on a plane again :( after just over 24 hours of aeroplanes and transits we're finally in San Fran! Off to the hotel for some free wine, then to Bloomingdales for a coat, it's a bit chilly here and dinner with Barney. Hopefully my body will get the 'its dinner time now' message.
