21st feb. got up this morning on a mission to go to the Granville island public market. Caught the bus on the awesome day pass and got lost trying to find how to get to the island! Finally found the market, it's a bit like Victoria market in Melbourne. Also it seems you don't have to pay tax on fresh food... Winner! We bought some cheesy, sour dough and avo for our little journey across the harbour on the 'sea bus'. Had a poke around on the other side of the harbour and had our little picnic in the rainy coldness and headed back on the ferry. Wandered around gas town which is fantastically touristy but has cool old streets and buildings and a steam powered clock (that is only right twice a day!). A little tech assist time in the hotel and then Headed to a cute little wine bar called 'raw canvas' where you could do a painting as well as enjoy the wine but we chose not to because it wouldn't dry (and it was super expensive!)
