21st feb. got up this morning on a mission to go to the Granville island public market. Caught the bus on the awesome day pass and got lost trying to find how to get to the island! Finally found the market, it's a bit like Victoria market in Melbourne. Also it seems you don't have to pay tax on fresh food... Winner! We bought some cheesy, sour dough and avo for our little journey across the harbour on the 'sea bus'. Had a poke around on the other side of the harb...

20th feb: Heading to Vancouver today. Had some breaky, booked a hotel and headed on down to the greyhound bus stop to wait in the cold. Boo I hate buses, also need to bring snacks next time! After a nice sleep on the bus (greyhound was may more comfortable) we went to our hotel and dropped our bags. The weather is really dismal today so we went to the all you can eat sushi place recommended by Camilla... Winner!! Then headed out to the mall to buy some new luggag...

The date on the blog site seems to be working again but just in case it's the 19th feb today. 2 weeks down, only 2 left :( booked the greyhound bus but when we went to print out the tickets there were big issues, they came out for the 21st not the 20th and Nichol had heaps of trouble trying to fix the problem; no wonder their cheap! ACTUAL DATE: 18th feb. had a lazy day today, hung around mikey and camilla's place for a bit while they went for a quick ski then headed down to the local sushi for a bento box special and explore the little village in the snow; made it a bit tricky to see. Came back and chilled out at home, had a nap and a spa... ACTUAL DATE: 17th feb. got up and had breaky downstairs. Went over to check out the meeting point for the lessons and see Barney and Nichol off for their day of skiing. Pretty good lesson, a really good instructor but I would've rather been in the middle of the group instead of the top - also should have done lesson yesterday; oh well! Things to remember... When skiing stand as if someone has punched you in the stomach, then pretend that you are holding a pumpkin...
