M&Ms Cruise Journal
We move on to Margaretta Island, a very hot day with a temperature of 88 degrees F. A pretty beach and lovely blue sea and lots of stalls selling tourist stuff. We meet the singer and she's still not got her case yet from Montego bay. But the show must go on so Marilyn and her choose some bling jewellry from the on-board shop. Big stuff so you can see it from the back of the theatre, only $200.
On to Grenada the next day and St Georges is the capital. Lots of fishermen here with their catch of sardines and red mullet. They blow a conch shell to give the call they are ready to sell and all the locals come along to buy the fish. A very hot day again, off to find the shade for the afternoon. Another quiz win for us and a good prize, a bottle of champaigne, and its drinkable. Lovely.
Our last port of call, Port of Spain in Trinidad. A cloudy, humid day and while out exploring the town it pours down. We get soaked but the humidity in the air is relieved. Lobster on the menu tonight, great stuff.
best wishes,
M&M
