I'm in Airlie Beach now. I got the Greyhound down from Cairns yesterday with Gemma, a girl I met in Darwin and then again in Cairns. It took 11 hours and was horrible because it was full, unlike any of the buses we'd been on up the west coast. The first driver we had was grumpy, and the second one had never driven a Greyhound before and couldn't change gear! I reckon I could drive a Greyhound better than him! I got back from diving last night. I am absolutely exhausted! I have put my pictures up but that's about as much as I can handle today! I have so much to say about scuba diving - it was the most incredible thing I have ever done. The Great Barrier Reef is beautiful and I saw so many different fish and corals and sea cuecumbers and stuff! I will write it all down soon - all about my 8 dives and everything I saw and did - but right now I am just completely exhauste...

I flew into Cairns yesterday morning, having got up at stupid 4.45am! And even at that time Darwin was warm and humid. Cairns feels cooler - it's only about 29 degrees and really cloudy today. Yesterday I walked about and booked up my scuba diving course!
