I arrived in Brisbane yesterday, and spent the afternoon and evening getting my bearings with my friend Gemma. It's a lovely city, but it took me a while to get used to the amount of people wandering around, and seeing men in suits again! Brisbane is warm and a bit humid. I really like it and there's lots I want to see and do in the next few days. I will write more about my canoeing trip in Noosa and my visit to Australia Zoo later (I fed an elephant and kangaroos and stroked a koala!).
