I arrived in Newcastle on Monday evening, and it's lovely! It's quite small and there's not a whole lot to do, but it has a lovely foreshore and a promenade with beautiful beaches. I arrived in Coffs Harbour by Greyhound this afternoon and went for a walk along the beach, which is stunning. The air smells really salty and the water is cool and clear. There are several rocky islands out to sea and the views are lovely. Yesterday, when I was still in Byron Bay, I had booked up to go sea-kayaking with dolphins, apparently. I arrived in Bryon Bay yesterday, and had to change time zones again so am now eleven hours ahead! Madness. I've uploaded pictures from whale watching, Fraser Island (they're a bit dodgy because they are from a disposable camera) and Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin's zoo), which was BRILLIANT! I arrived in Brisbane yesterday, and spent the afternoon and evening getting my bearings with my friend Gemma. It's a lovely city, but it took me a while to get used to the amount of people wandering around, and seeing men in suits again! Brisbane is warm and a bit humid.
