Life in the outback is great fun. I am safe and well and coping with all the bugs and the heat. It's around 38-42 degrees every day, although it is supposed to be cooler by now. It's gets cooler in the night though so it's cold when I'm supposed to get out of bed! It's tried to rain 3 times in the 30-plus days I've been out here, but it only ended up spitting for a couple of minutes each time. I went to the Blue Mountains on Monday, on a tour. The weather was still rubbish but it was the best forcast for my last few days in Sydney. I have now been in Sydney for three months and so am ready for a change. It's been great living here and seeing everything that goes on in summer but there is so much more of this country to see.
