I've had a lovely day today. I met my friend Kirsty, who I met in Perth, and we walked around St. Kilda. It was a bit chilly and felt like Autumn, for once. St. Kilda is lovely and the beach is pretty. There is a big street with lots of cake shops on it - yummy :) I've finally managed to upload my pictures from the tour. It was a really good tour and was much better than I expected it to be. Seeing the rock was good, although the other bits were better as I knew...

Just a quick message to say that I've arrived safely in Melbourne. The Uluru tour was fantastic and I will tell you all about it if I ever find a computer that lets me upload pictures. I'm staying in St. Kilda now and it's on the coast so I've seen the sea again :)

I'm off on a 3 day tour to Uluru (Ayers Rock) tomorrow and I'm rrreeeeeeeally excited. I left Deep Well at 6.40 this morning and it was a lovely drive in as the sun was rising, although I'm really sad to have left station life behind. I went to visit the Royal Flying Doctors base today and it was really interesting. Happy Birthday mum!

I have about a week and a half left at Deep Well, and then I'm back on the road again. I can't wait to start travelling again, but I'm going to miss outback life. I've been at Deep Well since Thursday, and am settling in OK. Deep Well is about an hours drive south-ish out of Alice Springs. It's interesting to see how different stations operate. At Napperby there were a couple of families, a couple of men, backpackers and the owners, whereas here there's just me and the family. My job is to clean and keep an eye on the kids.
