Well I'm in Sydney airport and there is a "Departed Australia" stamp in my passport - NEW ZEALAND HERE I COME!!! I had a great last day in Melbourne seeing the sites - I found ACDC Lane and Dame Edna Place and Batman Avenue (my friend Clare told me Melbourne was going to be called Batman originally but I'm not sure I believe her...) and we went to the Crown Casino on Bill Bryson's recommendation, and it is MASSIVE. It's blinking ENORMOUS. I played a pokie with my one dollar coin and won four back, which was quite exciting as the machine was playing a nice tune and clinking the coins. It was a bit scary to see all the people sitting there with cups full of coins just feeding them into machines though.

So here I am, starting to make my way home :) Australia has been brilliant and only got better and better and I can't wait to see more of the world. Bring. It. On.
