Have put three new photo albums up today - and the photo on the left is my photo this time!

I've moved into a long stay hostel so I finally have somewhere to stay for Christmas and New Year! I'm in a room with three other girls who are nice and friendly and we have cupboards so I fully unpacked my rucksack for the first time since August, which was interesting! We have free interent and a telly which is a bonus!

Have been jobhunting this week but there's not much work about. It's not much fun but there's lots to do around Sydney in the meantime. Last weekend I went to Bondi beach with a couple that were in my dorm room, but the weather was a bit rubbish when we got there - it was so windy we were getting sandblasted! It started raining too, but that wasn't putting the surfers off. The next day we met up with some other friends and spent the day on Darling Harbour at the Thai food festival (it was a "prawn showcase", and we got free orange hats if we said we liked prawns and filled in a survey about how often we eat them). Then we walked down to The Rocks, which is near the harbour bridge, and then into the oldest pub in Sydney, or so they say. Later we went down to Circular Quay and watched a completely amazing firework display they were having over the opera house, as that was where the final of Australian Idol (like X Factor) was being held. The fireworks were the most amazing fireworks I have ever seen, and I CANNOT wait for New Year now!
