Yesterday was a BRILLIANT day! I registered with a childcare agency in the morning, and then spent the day at Taronga Zoo with Dan, someone I met in my hostel. I'm in Sydney! I arrived just after midday, but wasn't sure we were going to make it when the Greyhound bus broke down temporarily! The driver had stopped at traffic lights on a slope and couldn't get in gear and kept going backwards. I arrived in Newcastle on Monday evening, and it's lovely! It's quite small and there's not a whole lot to do, but it has a lovely foreshore and a promenade with beautiful beaches.
