I arrived in Bryon Bay yesterday, and had to change time zones again so am now eleven hours ahead! Madness. Walked to the lighthouse in this picture this morning - it was very hot and so the uphill walk wasn't very fun! I also found Australia's most easterly point, which was exciting. Byron Bay is lovely - the beaches are beautiful and the hostel I am in is nice too.

I was sad to leave Brisbane yesterday, because there was lots to see and do and I really enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed the museum and art gallery on the south bank, which were free and really interesting. There were a lot of children running around trying out all the hands-on stuff which looked really cool :) Brisbane reminded me of a smaller version of London - south bank had a big wheel and a theatre and art galleries. I could quite happily have spent more time there but never mind, there's more to see! I've booked my bus tickets and plan to arrive in Sydney on Thursday the 13th Nov after travelling to Coff's Harbour, Port Macquarie and Newcastle. Then I plan not to make any more plans for a while!
