Day 30
After nearly four amazing and eventful weeks in Australia we arrived in Hong kong. Pretty tired we did a tour of the city with a very odd tour guide called Terri, we agreed that every tour guide we had made the trips in their different ways! we went up the peak, the highest point in HK to lookover the skyline which was incredible, just buildings everywhere all crammed in...we went to a little fishing illage called Aberdean the drivers sat nav was awful, don't know how we nded up in Scotland..we did a little boat trip passed the biggest floating restaurant in the world which held 2000people then Stanley market before back to the hotel which by this point we, especially me were exhausted!
Day 31
After near enough 13 hours of sleep we made our way via 2 ferrys and a bus to Lantau island and Tai O fishing village where we walked round and saw the stilt houses and general village life..then jumped on another bus up to the biggest buddha in the world (that could be wrong, sat on top of a huge mountain, pretty impressive...we then took the cable car back to Kowloon and went back to the Peak to see it at night...the view during the day was impressive but there are a lot of crappy looking building which you can see. at night its different as you can only see the lights and the amazing building, which makes the view even better. we took loads of pictures headed back to the hotel we crammed alot in that day.
Day 32
Had a look round the shops in the morning..it was strange starting with the humidity in singapore, then tropical but nice heat in Cairns down to Sydney then hats and scarves in Melbourne before back to the humidity in Hong Kong..and it was hot! we went to Temple street market in the afternoon and then on a boat trip called Symphony of lights where everynight theres a light and laser show from the buildings. impressive stuff! (picture above) and then after that, that was it! the Marc and Darren adventure finished! and had gone so quickly after all that planning!
