Im here in America!

I arrived on Friday 16th at about 6pm (11pm UK time) after a lovely flight from Heathrow to Philedephia then another flight from Philey to State College. It was pretty unevenful apart from almost losing my passport :s and i made some friends in Philey airport who would be traveling with me on the plane o State College (the tiniest plane i have ever seen...london buses are bigger!) i was shocked at how friendly everyone was.

When i got to state college i had a little panic as i was all alone and couldnt see anyone with Juniata signs. After a while i notice a boy sitting on his own who definatly looked english and sure enough he was and he was going to Juniata! Yay! so we waited togther, me and Ed from Chesterfield untill another plane arrived with the other new students, and for our ride to Juniata.

The two other students were Valentin from France and Emilie from Holland. Eventually we all met up and went outside to get in our little bus. OH MY GOD how cold did it want to be outside! we are told that it was -20 buut probably colder due to the wind chill factor. We all looked really shocked and could not cope with the cold as we hundled toghter in the bus.

Our first destination was Wegman and Target...didnt know what they were at the time...but Wegman is like Walmart and Target is also like Walmart but with more home stuff....so like Asda home or somthing. we had some food and wandered around and bought some duvets and pillows and other room things. then it was back on the freezing bus for an hours drive to Juniata College.

We all got dropped off to our halls. Ed, Emilie and I were all in South Hall. We were shown to our room and left to sort stuff out. By this time it was about 11pm (4am Uk time) and i was soo soo tired i had barely made my bed before i fell asleep!

Today we have orientation stuff to do and we get to meet some new people and i think my roommate will be arriving wooo!
