Kels Adventures
Today we left early at 7am for monument valley.
We stopped at the Cameron Arizona trading post as a pit stop then finally hit the valley at about lunch time.
We went on a 3 1/2 hour jeep ride through the valley. It was fantastic to see but went on a little long. We had a traditional Navajo taco for lunch which was fried naan type bread, meat & beans, and the normal taco fixings. It was quite good.
Then we set off for Durango. Road works made it a late arrival and we went to an Irish pub for a 9:30pm dinner. I had hot pot sandwich which was roast shredded beef & onion rings in a bun with a salad and ranch dressing. It was amazing and huge. We are staying at the Durango downtown inn which is close to everything.
