Boarded a cheap local bus to Granada. Transport here is surprisingly cheap but food is not. Main highlight in Granada was, we went to the main square to be chased by bulls. Luckily they have this festival once a year and we were there for it. It is the same festival they have in Spain where they release bulls into the streets and everyone gets chased by bulls. That’s what we did but on a much more unorganised event. It rained the whole time and we waited for nearly 3 hours waiting for it to start. We were not happy bunnies waiting all that time. Although it was all worth it for that adrenaline rush when the bulls are released. Me and Nick stuck together, behind the truck, where the bulls were released from. We were too scared to get in front where all the crazy locals stood. One guy got knocked straight out by this bull when it was first released from the lorry. Still not sure why they have this event but it was fun but crazy at the same time. Seb and Kyle followed the truck so they could actually be chased by bulls. Me and Nic valued our lives so we watched from a distance. Nic is the Swiss guy we met back in Cancun. We keep bumping into him so he’s now joined us to travel the rest of Nicaragua. Most likely see him again in Colombia and might even travel together to do some of South America.
