Queenstown is amazing, so much to do from bungee jump, rope swing, Luge, speedo boat, rafting, zorbing and much more. My kind of town for sure, but it's expensive as you could imagine. I chose to go on the chair rail up this huge mountain to go on the Luge which is basically a tobogganing tub going down a GoCart track in the mountain, so much fun, I loved it. Although my hands felt like they were going to fall off. I almost fell off at one stage when I assumed Kyle was recording with his gopro but he didn't press record.
Forgot to mention I've started to grow a stubble/ beard because I can not be bothered to shave whilst camping for 2 weeks. Not keen on it but it definitely makes my life 100% easier not having to shave.
Next day we hiked the same huge mountain where we got the chair lift. It taken us an hour to get up there and 30 mins to get back down. We had a high altitude New Zealand beer up the top with the same mesmerising view.
Bungy jump booked, cost me $320 for a 10 second thrill! On the inclusive transport towards the bung, Kyle is sitting next to me nervous. He's not even doing the bungy just sitting up there watching me, and he's the one who's nervous. I was fine, doesn't bother me one bit! I wasn't nervous until I put my feet on the ledge and I looked down and he counted me down. The moment my body left the ledge, I screamed so loud I strained my throat. It was a great feeling of free falling but it didn't last long which is why I am going to do a skydive in Australia when I return. I purchased the video as I certainly won't be wasting my money on a bungee again but I did enjoy it! Check my video out. When we returned, me and Kyle went for a game of mini golf and $5 pints.
