Tayrona national park was real epic and beautiful. But such a rip off. Planned to stay two nights but left after one as we had to sleep in some dreadful tents and everything was super expensive. Even charged a £1 for toilet paper. A pound goes a long way usually. The beaches were stunning and not so busy and was hot to get a nice tan. I was black after one day. It was nice to just relax on the beach and read my book and people watch. But night time was boring and not much going on and we all didn’t really want to sleep in the tent. The tent at 7am was awfully hot and so we was up nice and early and got to the beach to have a wash haha. The aussie guy who we was with, Jimbo, he was wanted to stay an extra night to sleep in the hammock. But us three wished to leave and didn’t want to stay to pay the prices or even sleep in a stupid hammock and so all of us headed back in the afternoon. The best decision though as the hurricane was coming through the Caribbean and we were north of Colombia in the Caribbean sea. And we got our boat back to Tagonga, the weather was becoming worse and the sea was really choppy, so we left at the right time.
