Caye Caulker to San Ignacio in Belize was a easy ride but sweltering. Much cheaper than getting their from Mexico too. Although the people when we got off the boat in Belize said the buses cost $90BZ but I knew already that it cost $10BZ via the local buses. Much easier to communicate in Belize as they speak English, so much harder for them to rip us off. Arrived at our hostel and checked into our hostel room and this huge dog was just laying there. I wish these hostels would state they have animals or not have them. Hostels are dirty places already without dogs and cats. We planned to go to these caves called ATM caves, but we were unaware of the cost until we arrived. The cheapest tour was USD$75 which is crazy expensive for a tour around a cave. So we decided to go on a hot walk to Belizes oldest Mayan ruins. I would love to tell you about them but I would probably bore you and plus I don't know anything anyways, so google it haha.
This Austrian girl in our room kept on trying to cook us food but then make us pay for it. No mate, I can cook myself, do one! The boarder crossing was fairly simple and easy and no long queues. Although the young boys who were trying to "help" us to get transport sorted from the boarder to Flores (next destination). Wanted to charge us double the price we already knew what to pay. We managed to find the bus station and get a local van. We did.
