Hi Everyone!! We are currently in Pai in Northern Thailand which has been amazing!! Getting here was a bit of an ordeal (as is to be expected when Steve and I travel). We had to catch a mini bus through the mountains from Chiang Mai to Pai. Having conquered the first few steep slopes, the bus began making some awful noises!! Hello!! Well we have now left Bangkok and arrived safely in Chiang Mai. Our last night in Bangkok was very eventful and involved the usual chaos. We caught a taxi to the Patpong area and almost ended up in the Bangkok Hilton en route. The Thai police didn't take too kindly to Steve taking off his seatbelt in a moving vahicle and proceeded to pull us over and clamp the taxi.
