Hi All,

Well this is almost our last postcard!!! (huge sighs of relief all round). The picture is of the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion that we have been staying at in Georgetown Penang - it's been completely restored to it's former glory and it's absolutely beautiful. Our Bedroom used to be the kitchen - so it has a massive stove right in the middle of it......I keep threatening Steve with the frying pan......

Penang has been pretty chilled out really. Today's highlight involved being escorted off the premises by security from a 5 star resort!!! Apparently they didn't like the fact that we were using the facilities and all because we were not staying at the resort (the cheek). I kindly informed the management that we had purchased lunch etc. and would NOT be returning, nor would I be recommending their hotel to ANYONE!! (it was Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa in case you are wondering - stunning hotel)

We spent this evening having an Italian meal, whilst being tortured by the sounds of the worst band I have ever heard in my entire life!! These girls made Margherita Pracatan look talented!! It was so hilarious - people in the street were actually covering their ears in agony!!

Tomorrow we are island hopping to Langkawi for some more rest and relaxation before reality bites!!!
