Well Everyone................. this is our final postcard of the trip!!

We are currently in Langkawi - Malaysia and it is absolutely stunning!! We have never seen beaches so beautiful before in our entire lives!! The sand is so white and the waters are clear and turqouiise blue - it really is paradise!!

After leaving Thailand, we were torn as to whether to skip Malaysia and head back into Thailand, but we are both so glad that we came here......

We have hired a car - a Proton called Vera and spent yesterday exploring the Island and its many gorgeous beaches. After a spot of lunch, we finally settled on a beach called Pantai Rhu for the afternoon. With only a handful of people there - we pretty much had the beach to ourselves - it was so relaxing!!

The place we are staying at is really nice too. It's a little retreat overlooking some rice fields and surrounded by palm trees etc. It's just what we need before heading back to normality!! I have decided to take a leaf out of Celine Dion's book and have placed us both on a strict detox from Booze for the week - so we haven't really been to the pubs etc. much. Instead we have been treating our bodies like temples and have been drinking mineral water, fresh juices and lots of healthy things........................... I wonder how long it will last

Today and tomorrow are going to be filled with more beach time and relaxation. Friday we head down to KL to do our last bit of shopping, then Saturday we fly from Singapore to London (arriving into Heathrow at 6am)

This really has been an amazing 3 months and has really made us reflect upon how lucky we are......

Thanks to everyone for all your lovely website messages, texts, e-mails and phone calls to keep in touch (and keep me posted on the gossip back home). Although we are really sad that our trip is over - we can't wait to see and catch up with all of our friends again (it will give Steve a break from listening to me jabbering in his ear everyday)

We are also really excited about seeing a very special Liam Cassley and Miss Darcy Hoffman and giving them HUGE hugs!! Not to mention meeting the new arrivals into this world - Charlie Groombridge, Daisy Kennedy and yet to be confirmed (due any day now) baby boy or girl Oakes........
