I can't believe it's all over!! It's now Boxing day and Christmas has gone by so fast!!

Christmas Eve was such good fun We started the evening off by joining some of the other guests at the guesthouse for some wine tasting .... one of the guests, a chap named Lucas is a designer for Christian Dior. He most recently designed a dress for Nicole Kidman which she wore to the Oscars - so that was all quite fabulous!!

From there we headed out for dinner, but didn't have anything booked so we had to wander around like a pack of strays. In the end we found a great little restaurant and proceeded to get more and more jolly!!

Whilst at the restaurant Ian took a shine for a pair of Wizard of Oz style red ruby slippers that were suspended from the ceiling and attached to a striped stocking. It was one of those 'gotta have it' scenarios which forced him to tear it from the ceiling and stuff it into Richard's pocket.

The red ruby slipper was then to provide the source of the rest of the evenings entertainment as we walked it round the bars in search of Cinderella's foot .... Cinderella was not to be found, although one cute, but rather forward American chap did offer to put his manhood into the ruby slipper instead!! I reminded him that it was rather a large slipper to which he went a bit quiet!!

Christmas Day was lovely. I was almost mugged by some suspicious looking boys on my way back from Safeway!! Drama averted, I made it back to the guesthouse safely and we headed out for coffee and Eggs Benedict to cure our hangovers.

Later in the afternoon we headed to the Palace Hotel and joined lots of Joan Rivers look alikes for the most amazing Christmas Day Dinner/ Buffet accompanied by endless glasses of fizz!!

It's now Boxing day and we move on from San Francisco today. We are going to try and find a log cabin somewhere, although I have been informed by a few American chaps that Brokeback Mountain was filmed in a totally different state, so we may not have much luck!!

On that note we are off for breakfast
