Hi All,

We are now in Sunny Melbourne (and I am sunburnt - Jon)...........

New Years Eve in Sydney was amazing!! We went to Anthonys house party in the red light district. After convincing Anthony to drag up (it took little convincing) we sent him out on the streets to earn his keep witht the rest of the girls of the night (see photo album) sadly there were no takers!! (at least none that were prepared to pay).

We go more and more merry then headed down to see the Bridge and the fireworks at midnight....it was spectacular - diamonds really are forever (Shirley was playing in the background), many boozy phone calls later and we were back at the house party and then down Oxford Street - the time difference with the UK was bizarre as most of you guys were having lunch as we brought in the New Year.

New Years Day was spent on the beautiful Manly Beach and then the following day (2nd Jan) we headed to Melbourne.

Melbourne is gorgeous - it reminds us a lot of Brighton in the UK - really cosmopolitan and laid back...........

We've found some fab bars and cafes (Dawn you would love the food) and spent yesterday travelling along the Great Ocean Road. I think the coastline is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Whilst admiring it I managed to get sunburnt pretty badly - so its out of the sun for me for a couple of days!!

We also saw Koala Bears in the wild - they were so cute!! Saw the Rainforest and then returned to 'The Golden City' at sunset.

Richard and Carl arrive tonight - so it's a night on the tiles for us!!

We then head up North to Cairns on Sunday for some more sunshine and the Great Barrier Reef...... so glad not to be in work right now ;o)
