Travel Abroad Lesson #1: Book the arrival flight with plenty of time to spare.
President Obama passing through Pittsburgh International Airport & inclement weather caused a bunch of us to miss our connecting flights! Which means I can't fly out to Ireland until tomorrow evening, and I won't meet the group traveling with me until Wednesday afternoon. I was supposed to arrive at Shannon Airport at 8:40 a.m., which means I would have arrived not long ago on Ireland's time. Bummer! :( On the flip side I made a new friend from Ireland. Her name is Sarah, and I really like her laidback personality. We've made plans for her to show me around Ireland in our freetime and she is going to navigate me on how to take the train from Shannon to Galway to connect with my group Wednesday morning. :) Which brings me to...
