Hello english zombies!
Were in fiji and its hot hot hot :) ahaaa..
New Zealand...
So we arrived in Auckland and we had a bad day as money got stolen out of lou lous bag :( stupid people! Auckland was a little bit scary, lots of homeless people that kept trying to talk to us and as weve learned from parents, dont talk to strangers!!
We then got on the kiwi bus and met our fellow passengers and made our way up to the bay of islands where we spent a night with our crew. We went on a walk to a waterfall and it took us 5 hours!!! The next morning we had to leave most of the crew as they were going further up but we had to head back down to auckland so got a whole new bus of people.. who luckily were just as good, if not better! :) After spending one more night in Auckland we made our way down the north island, stopping in each place for one night then moving on to a different place the day after. During each journey we would stop and do little walks around forests and waterfalls. We also saw a sheep shearing show and then saw a rabbit tied to a table being sheared.. poor rabbit! It was funny though... Not one for mummy tina! Alot of the hostels had hot pools so we spent a few evenings relaxing in them, it was bliss :) What we liked about the kiwi experience was that we stuck with the same people the whole way down. We formed a really good group and we love them too bits, were missing them lots and so jealous they got to go ski-ing in Queenstown!! In the north island we did a skydive in Taupo!! It was the most amazing thing we've ever done and were so glad we experienced it together. We can't wait to show you the dvds, they're so funny! We also went white water rafting in River Valley. It was awesome but freezing cold! It was a 3 hour rafting trip and were so glad we did it :) We then had to get a ferry down to the south island where it was a tad colder. It was our friends birthday and our bus drivers birthday the following day so we had a good few nights out with our gang. In the south we did a glacier hike in Franz Josef, 8 hours of walking on ice! It was amazing and the scenary was beautiful :) Even though we couldnt feel our feet and toes the guide kept our mind off it ;) ahaaa! He was yummy, mummys you'd approve apart from he was called Basil! haha! That night was our last before leaving our crew so we had a night out which ended badly with lou lou being sick for the first time in 8 years! Uh oh. Jadey had to put her to bed and rub her back and collect her tears! She lasted 2 hours! Haha. The next day we headed to wanaka, our last day on the bus :( We had to say goodbye to our driver, Morrie, he gave Jade a piece of New Zealand Jade stone because he loved her! Aww :) Then the rest of our crew stayed in Wanaka and we had to get a shuttle to Queenstown to fly to Christchurch the next day.. we messed our flights up badly and we regret not having longer in Queenstown. We really wanted to go snowboarding for the day but it gives us a reason to come back! Sorry this blog is short and a bit rubbish but were excited about getting on the feejee experience tomorrow morning and were in a bit of a gay mood! And also we have no time left on the internet! We will try and get photos up but cant promise anything, especially as were going to be moving around Fiji alot.
Overall we absolutely loved New Zealand, it was an amazing 2 weeks, made all the better with the people we did it with :) Sweet as bro!
Nearly home now, only 2 weeks or so! Cant believe its nearly over.. were absolutely gutted for our travelling experience to be over but really cant wait to see you all now.
Loads of love from us two, big dave and little phil (our new nicknames!)xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
