Today we had a sleep in and had another late breakfast at around 9.30am.
After breakfast we headed back to our room, as we are departing bora bora today. Whilst we are both sad to be leaving to stunning views and colours of bora bora, we are looking forward to Papeete.
We take the boat back to the airport at midday, where we get on the small plane direct to Papeete. Getting out of the airport is quick, and we are back at the intercontinental hotel in about 20 mins of getting off the plane.
We get checked in, and head to the pool bar to have a light lunch and a drink about 3.00pm.
Then we talk to the concierge to see what we can do for the next day, discovering that as tomorrow is Sunday everything is closed. So we book for lunch at le coco's on Sunday, and decide to take the last shuttle into town for dinner at les roulettes.
We are dropped off nearby the markets and have a wander around the markets. We head along the promenade towards a local festival, and then back around through town. As it's now about 5.30pm almost everything is shut, so we settle in at the Bora Bora lounge for a few drinks before heading to les roulettes for dinner.
We settle on Chinese for dinner, and after a break and a wander around then have some crepes for dessert.
After dinner we head back to the hotel by taxi and have a night cap in the lobby bar before heading to bed.
