Today I woke up early so I took a walk around the resort to take some photos. I found myself at the Turtles rehab centre and was lucky to find the staff introducing some new turtles and feeding them as well. After breakfast I had booked the dolphin experience at the dolphin centre within the resort.
It was a gorgeous sunny day, and we head out to the centre of the dolphin centre to learn a little about Dolphins and what they eat. The instructor telling us that the female eats 8kg of fish a day and the males eat 12kg. We enter the shallow waist deep water where we can touch the male dolphin and pose for photos with it, watching some basic movements and noises requested by the trainer.
We then head to the deep pool where we get into the water to swim the female dolphin, and with goggles can watch her swim under water and then jump in the air for us. She does a few more tricks and after several more pats our time comes to and end.
After this we had a swim in the pool, a few cocktails and a snack at the pool bar in the afternoon.
For dinner we decide to go to the Sunset cafe at a local hotel down the road. With recommendation from the waitress o ordered the fish en pappilotte (cooked in banana leaves) with vanilla sauce, and was Devine. Michael has the cannibal (meat lovers) pizza. I have apple tarts tartan for dessert and Michael has lemon sorbet with vodka, which he through half of out.
The lovely owner drove us back to the resort and got the music pumping, which was very amusing.
Back at the resort we pack out bags and head to bed getting ready to depart for bora bora the following morning.
